Capabilities

Certifications		In 1998 SMC received certification to the QS 9000 quality standard. The QS 9000 standard has since expired. SMC is now certified to ISO 9001/2000 standard. SMC quality system continues to follow the QS 9000 Standard protocol. PPAP's, certifications, lot tracking and other special requirements are provided to our customers as requested.

Industry Associations		SINCE 1978, SMC was associated with the Tubular Rivet & Machine Institute (TRMI). This association is now know as the Cold Formed Parts and Machine Institute (CFPMI). The CFPMI maintains industry standards for fasteners, fastening equipment, quality standards and continuous improvement programs.
